Traveling blog: Slovakia

This year Xmas and New year's eve, I planned to spend in Slovakia. It was a beautiful journey to sightsee the western part of Slovakia and the city of Wien. Because of a close connection, i get to explore the country with locals, which unlike tourist group schedule. No rushing and hustling just enjoy. Hopefully this blog able to provide for those of you planning to visit Slovakia in the future, to give you an idea of travel guidance.

My Slovak xmas eve and day were fulfilled with love and good homemade food.

Maninska Tiesnava is feature of its spectacular rocks along the narrow drive way. Many hikers and climbers challenge to go on the peak of the rock.

One thing I experienced about Slovak proud is the nature. As myself grew up living in the city, go for a walk in the nature can be a enjoyable thing to do in Slovakia.

On the way to the Bojnice castle, we stopped by this village called Čičmany, it is characterized by its patterned house. It cannot be found everywhere in Slovakia.

Bojnice castle was built in 12th century, perfect place for a fairytale wedding.

Another crazy fun night.

Jozef Pekara was the sculptor who made this piece of art. It represents types of Slovak's early tradition industry families. Almost every single character is movable.

There are tons of spa hotel in Slovakia, we went to Spa Aphrodite where was closer to the place I stayed. It was such an amazing experience to do outdoor spa while it was snowing. And it was my first time wearing bikini in the snow! So relaxing. Definitely recommended to go.

On new years eve, we had a day trip to Vienna, Austria. (this is something great about Europe that you can cross border on train with short traveling time) It was a stylish european city.

Before sunset we head back to Slovakia, meet up a few friends in Bratislava. Started pre-drinks and prepare some traditional finger snacks. Then meeting some more new friends and we count down on the balcony.(Just have to mention that this friend's house is just my dream.)

Of course after one day drunk recovery, I was being a little tourist around this capital city. The city wasn't too busy as I thought. (people probably hiding from hangover, ha)

On the day before we heading back to UK, it was snowing all day and gorgeous, good way to end this holiday!

Here is the link to a six mins Vlog I made, enjoy!
